Delete your account
Last updated 25 October 2026
You can delete your Pars account and its data from inside the app at any time.
How to delete it
- Open Pars and sign in.
- Tap your avatar to open Profile.
- Scroll down and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. If you signed in with Apple, you may be asked to confirm with Apple too.
If you still owe money in a trip you share with other people, Pars asks you to settle up first, so nobody is left with a balance they can’t settle.
Deletion is immediate and can’t be undone. If you sign in again later with the same Apple, Google or email account, you’ll start fresh with an empty account.
What’s removed
- Your email address and sign-in link to Apple or Google
- Your profile name and photo
- Your payout methods and their QR images
- Your push notification tokens and pending notifications
- Trips where you were the only signed-in member, with all their expenses, settlements and photos
- Your link to every other trip
What stays
Trips are shared, so your friends’ records need to keep adding up. In trips you shared with other signed-in members:
- your name stays on the expenses and settlements you were part of, marked as a deleted account;
- those expenses, settlements, photos and balances are unchanged;
- if you owned the trip, ownership passes to the member who joined earliest.
Nothing that stays is linked to your email or sign-in any more.
